Hey fellas, I'm bout to install my Steeda Pulleys and TA, My question is with my O/R Hpipe, What Degree of timing will I be able to get away with i'm guessin 14 degrees on 89, if i'm not mistakin my O/R hpipe should be makin me run rich so I should have a lil room to play with am I correct???

The o/r h-pipe doesn't make you run rich. It just smells like it, because you no longer have cats. I typically ran 14 degrees on 92 octane. The rule of thumb is to take it up til it detonates slightly then back it off a degree or two. With the T/A, you should really be running the highest octane possible.
I would suggest you start with 14 and work it up as I stated in the previous post. What works on someone else's car may or may not work on your car. Taking a blanket statement of what worked on someone else's car and applying it to your car is asking for trouble. You may set it to 16 on 93 octane and seriously detonate. Be careful while playing or you may be looking for new pistons.

ya, just start out at a lower number, like 14* and then bump it up 1 degree until you here a slight bit of pinging, then back it off. i would run the 93 octane just to be on the safe side though.

It sounds like marbles in a can. You cannot mistake the sound when you hear it. It sounds nothing like a normal engine sound. If you hear it, get off of the gas.
