quick question, wiring aftermarket tach

yes i searched. Any way its a autometer monster tach, the white wire that runs the light on the tach, is there a fuse on the fuse box i can stick it it? Like the fuse that runs the lights? But if i do that will it always be on or just when the lights are on. I also saw i can splice into the headlight switch. Which wire would it be? Thanks

Fuse 13. I would use the dead side of the fuse and add your own 1 amp fuse in your new wiring. This way, if your new wire shorts, it will hopefully blow the one amp fuse before taking out all the gauge lighting.
