can i use my harmonic balancer and flexplate from my 1967 269 on my 351w. not sure what year block but its not a roller block?

i dont see why not since they're both 28oz (351Ws are all 28oz)

Um, maybe not. Older motors tended to have 3 bolt pulleys & balancers, and they switched to 4 bolt in 1969.

If you use the old stuff, you may have to use all the old pulleys too.

yeah mines a 3 bolt on the 289 but its alright because i plan on using all the pulleys from my 289 plus the harmonic balancer, flexplate, timing cover and just buy some new pulleys later for the 3 bolt harmonic balancer
