I still have the old rims that came on my mustang and now am going to sell them. I have a friend with an 06 Ranger that is interested to see if they'll fit. He's offered me money for them already (of course less than what I am asking since he is a friend and such ) though I don't want to sell him something that won't fit.

Could you guys help me out please?:SNSign:

I think I have seen rangers with Mustang wheels before. I know the bolt pattern is the same.

Just have him swing by and try one out

I have Mach wheels on my 93 ranger with no problems, but I have heard with other mustang wheels that the dust caps o the front hits the center cap on the wheel, you can either remove the center caps or bang the dust caps a little and it should give enough clearance.

I think the newer rangers have made the switch over to the SN95-style brake setup where the rotor slides onto a hub.

I think all modern Fords are like this. I don't think any rotor/hub setups anymore

There's a ranger not far off that has bullitt style rims though I wasn't sure if they were replicas or not.

I guess Monday we will bolt one of the rims on and make sure there isn't any play. Thanks for the quick responses and info guys

They work with 2wd trucks no problem. I swapped tires from my Mustang to my Ranger once to see how goofy it would look, and they worked on the back, but wouldn't work with the hubs on the front. Of course, my truck is a 92. I've seen the new 4x4s don't even show a hub in the wheel anymore.

Yeah its just a plain jane 2wd ranger.
I guess i'll be selling them for $175, even though I could get quite a bit more from others.

Who would want some casinos

They are in pretty good condition to say the least. One of the rims has very minor curb rash so I guess taking $175 won't be too. It'll pay for the PI cams+parts so it'll be good in the long run

I'll post pictures of the ranger whenever he gets around to buying the rims (will take a while for him to get 17" tires)

Yeah, i've also seen a few foxes on SN with them. They are decent looking factory rims and clean up real nice.

I've thought about taking my black bullitts off and putting them back on, though the black rims do get some compliments

btw--You meant set

I'll take my wheels over a set of stock bullitts anyday.
