Hey i have mac equal length short headers on my 94gt , i was wondering what everyone else did with the dipstick+tubing, after install i was by no means (not for lack of trying) able to install the dipstick. So filled her up with the usaul amount of oil and used a ruber bung to fill the dipstick hole (temporarly). So, what are my options , i do kinda of like knowing how much oil i have :O) thanks alot guys

I bent mine too. Watch out for those headers burning your plug boots and the clutch cable. I had to modify my boots and wrap the clutch cable with header wrap

ive seen someone here who had a braided dipstick tubing, Aftermarket, but i cant find who makes it or who had it...i think that would do the trick, cuz this tube isnt wanting to bend right

The braded dipstick tube is made by Lokar.. and is sold through Jegs or Summit for $40.00... When I first bought my MAC shorties (GT40P Specific), they bent the dipstick tube around the header, but sometimes it would rub the steering shaft... I didn't like this, so I bought the Lokar, but after I installed it, I could never get the dipstick wire back in... arrg... so I went 8 months on a brand new motor without a dipstick... (this might only be a problem with GT40P specific headers)...

With my new longtubes, the Lokar dipstick fits perfect, and I'm happy again...
