Is there any such thing? I have Flowmaster 40 2-chambers on an offroad x-pipe (stock manifolds) and it is loud as hell. I love the deep rumble of these mufflers and the tone of the exhaust when I open it up, but in daily driving the drone starts at about 1800 rpm and can be annoying. Does anyone have advice on what would be a good muffler for power and sound? I know that magnaflows are good mufflers, i've had them on a past vehicle, but I hear of people switching to flows after having magnaflows on their 'stang. I would love to get a pair of quiet, powerful mufflers that sound good when you get on it at a reasonable price. Advice!

Quietest you are going to get is magnaflow or SLP's new Power-Flo mufflers.

i would truely have to recommend mac for this one..i have the mac setup with the catback and off road pc and i gotta tell you..i can barely hear it in the car at normal driving..crusing the highway at 70+ mph and the radio up 2 notches..i cant even hear the exhaust. if u want queit when normal driving and a kinda loud exhaust when gettin on it..go with the setup i got. idk about the whole quality thing and mac..but it all looks great to me, and its not like its that cheap either.

+1 for mac flowpaths and pro-chamber, very deep, crisp, clean sound when on the throttle and little to no drone when cruising, i took a 1k mile trip last week and it was great on the highway...and i get compliments from people all the time on the sound...

People usually switch because they want those louder rumbling mufflers...If you want great flowing mufflers that are smooth for daily driving, still have a good sound at WOT, and easy on the wallet...go with the regular magnaflow mufflers.

The powerFlos are not quiet. Thats what I have now and they are pretty loud, louder than what he has now. I would go with mac. They are not to loud but still have a nice tone to them

That's what I did, they own! Not too loud driving around town - infact quite deep, mellow, and very refined, don't drone much, and sound mean when I hit the gas!
