I've heard good things about FRPP's Dual Mode mufflers. I don't have them (yet) and don't have any sound level numbers, but from what I hear, they are quiet at low RPMS and get significantly louder at WOT. You can find them cheaper online.
Thats not a bad price on the cats. I couldn't get their site to work just then. Only reason I don't want to hack up the mid pipe is what if I change my mind. Mufflers easier to change rather then a mid pipe. I guess I will figure it out one way or another.
