How do you remove the steering colum, how do you seperate the steering box from the colum?

1)remove wheel hub (turn it counter clockwise, spring loaded)
2) remove nut
3) use a bolt type puller to pull off the steering wheel
4) remove spring, the turn signal, and emergancy flasher levers
5) remove seal (on the firewall, for small bolts - on the interior side)
6)remove the 2 nuts on the colum support
7) twist and pull, it should slide out.

you will still have the shaft in there though, and this is for the non-tilt one.
