Well I ended up getting a replacment this weekend. I really wanted to get another fox but anything I could find was either needs lots of work/rough looking or way over priced or just to far away.. I ended up picking up a 1994 Camaro Z28 in pretty nice shape for a pretty good deal

Sadly, that seems to be the way of foxes. Either too expensive or too ragged out. There are decent ones out there that are priced reasonably. It just takes allot of searching and some traveling if you feel it's the right car.

Make sure the water pump isn't leaking. Opti-spark = not cheap.

Yeah I was looking to get a newer around a 98 or so mustang gt but just came across this camaro and couldent pass it up. I've already been asked a couple of times when I'm going to start growing my mullet lol. The water pump was replaced not to long ago so I hope I dont have to worry about that for a wile. My dad had a 94 z28 about 6 years ago and had that problem so it was one of the first things I checked out.

^ I really wanted to do that but it's wrote off with an irraparable tittle so it can't be put back on the road. Even if it was the cars pretty much screwed. I checked out the whole underside and pretty much everything on the steering is bent or broke and the steering wheel just spins in circles. The frame did'nt look to be bent but body but the car has a pretty major twist to it. The hole that the shifter comes through the floor isn't a circle anymore is't kind of a oval and the shifter hits it and wont go into any gear. The car looks ALOT worse in person than in the pics.

Haha yeah it has a 3" magnaflow cat back, ss rear gears (cant remeber the ratio right now 3:34 or somthing like od like that) and a cold air intake and a shift kit. I can throw up some pics after I clean it up a bit if anyone really cares lol. If my hair wasnt so short I'd cut it into a mullet for a week or so just to see what people say lol

^ It's been raining here alot and I've been to busy to wash the car up to get some pictures, but im still trying. They gave me alot more than there origonal quote so with the car being worth more they decided to list it as salvagable as long as it passes a frame and body test. So I bought the car back and trying to decide if I should fix her up or part it out. It needs all the stearing parts, windsheild and all the obvious body panels plus getting it painted it after, might even be more stuff I havent seen yet. not sure if it's worth it not? would do you guys think?

Good thing you are ok , I can't stand stupid people because someone wasn't paying attention there's one more Notch down for the count. I had a girl pull out without looking and slam into my passenger side fender , luckily the damage wasn't bad but it pissed me off!

Camaro isnt a bad choice if you plan on driving it on a regular basis. They are 100x's the DD a fox is. I had a 98 z28 and I couldnt get over how tame it could be just putting around town but when you flat footed the pedal it got down right nasty.

Yeah I really like it for a DD other than its loud and rough compared to the fox. It's auto too so its a little more friendly around town, just makes it kind of boring for cruising
