so i saw an R&P steering unit for a Mustang II, so i assume they are R&P steering. now, does it attach to the front or rear of the spindles? when you turn the wheel to the left, does the rod for the driver side move away from the center of the car, or towards the the center of the car?

Unlike the first gen Mustangs which is the exact opposite. This is why it is difficult to adapt R&P steering to these years (65-73) without switching the entire suspension. However there are companies that do it but they are expensive and I've heard they don't work all that well.
