Well its my friends dads car and he came with me to the track. its a 6spd its awesome i drove it after the race and man does it handle like its on rails. well i raced him probably 8 times lol once on the bottle just because i got a crappy start and didnt want to lose to a bmw lol and the bottle was low anyways so i stopped after that lol.

but i returned it back to the all motor tune and we raced. the closest race was me running an 8.85 at 80.51 and him running a 8.89 at 80.37. I was surprised that i beat it but im sure it would pick up harder in a 1/4 because of the twin turbos. but second gear he would always start to catch back up to me a little until i grabbed 3rd then i started to walk again. I was actually running the car better on motor than on the nitrous too. my 330's were way better on motor than on spray lol but on spray my best run that day was still an 8.6 at 88mph i dont think im ever going to break that barrier lol its just laughing at me right now.

He was a good driver in the 335i though he has been to many of the bmw driving schools back when he use to have his old 5spd m5. his 60's were about the same as mine all day they were around 2.05

they aren't made for a drag strip.

Put them in the turns and a bolted GT would stand no chance.

hahahahahaha i would never put my gt in turns with one lol i would be rolled over in a ditch and he would have already lapped me lol.

but yea they are supposed to be low 13 sec cars stock. they are pretty quick it was awesome feeling those turbos kick in when i drove it. I usually go to his house not to talk to my buddy but his dad lol. when he lets me drive it he doesnt tell me to baby it he wants me to run it hard i ran it out to 7 grand around a turn and man it was holding the whole way it was sweet.

BMW's are well engineered cars....but i can't stand them.

It has nothing to do with their performance or anything like that. Like i said...very well engineered cars.

But the FIRST thing i would ever do if i ever won the lottery is go to the BMW dealer and buy a BMW-enthusiasts wet-dream car (the equiv of a Gt-500KR to a Ford guy). It would most likely be an M6.

I would take it home, put it on my front lawn and proceed to beat the living hell out of it with a sledgehammer until it was a pulp. Then i'd let it sit there for a few weeks til someone made me get rid of it

I'm not just making this up for this thread. I've regularly told friends that that would be the first thing i'd do if i ever won millions.

id kill for an M6. the 335 is nice, there are a lot around my work because the BMW dealer is across the street. they sound really godo with an offroad exhaust, as do the M5/M6.

nice I thought it was a 6 but without seeing the front what track do you go to? I ride a zx10 on the street and I have a gsxr 600 dedicated to track... thats nice if you frequent the track, too much pita changing over the bodywork and what not.

thats what a lot of people think. but bmws were made for it. they are touring cars they are not made for drag racing. this guy is really cool cause he actually buys a performance car and drives it like a performance car not like some of these 40 and 50 year old men that buy z06s and they never see above 2500rpms. lol

You can't compare G's to handling. Turning in a circle on a skidpad isn't indicative of a car's overall handling.

My GT handles much better than our 335, but then again, my car has a lot done to it suspension wise. I would imagine that if I ever throw coilovers on the 335, it would come close, if not out handle my GT.

FWIW guys, I think the 335 is severely under-rated from the factory as it doesn't feel like a 300HP crank motor.
