Let me start off by saying that my cars a 97 gt. It's basically stock with the exception of a BBK CAI and I don't have any thing past the first pair of cats on my exhaust (Like that when I bought it). Now earlier tonight I raced a 95 Mustang GT. It's basically stock to with the exception of a CAI and he has an off road H pipe and catback exhaust.

Now for the race, the first time we raced was the first time I had ever raced anyone and it was pathetic so lets just skip that. The second one however was different. I started off in the lead for about 7 seconds and he his front end was right on side mirror and then he just went on past and won with me at his rear bumper.

In a few weeks he's going to get 4.10's put in and it won't even be close anymore. Now I have a pair of PI Cams that I'm about to put in. What I want to know is that when I put them it will I win easily? Also is it better to go 1-2-D or is better to just leave it D and turn the OD off? I know that I should be able to make it closer with nothing done to my car. Also if it's better to go 1-2-D then at what points should I shift?

I'm not for street racing, I think it's pretty dumb to do. But let me say this, I used to do it quite a bit when I was a little younger. Now when someone wants to run, I just let em take off and look dumb.

Theres some guys here that have done a lot of the PI stuff to their npi Stangs, start a new thread and ask what kind of gains you can expect.

Try not to street race man, it's really not worth it. Wrecks and tickets suck.
