Racing Seats Questions

Hey all. I just bought a pair of DAD racing seats for my stang. I was wondering how difficult it is installing these things. Is it a quick day project or something thats gonna take the better part of a weekend? The guy is also throwing in 2 4 point harnesses so I'm probably gonna be taking out the stock belts while I'm at it. How hard is it to take out the front belts? I have a rear seat delete so am I gonna have to take that out to take the side panels off ? Any help is great. Thanks everyone

If you have the right brackets... they bolt into the stock holes in all of 5 minutes a seat.

I think the general consensus is to not use 4-pt harnesses unless you have a cage. I'm unsure of the correct reason, but I'm sure someone else may chime in with the correct answer. Its a safety issue when rolling, but thats all I can remember.

Yeah you have to have a cage in order to strap the 4-point harness, because if strapped to the floor at the time you have to suddenly stop it will pull you in such bad way that you may injured from the harness.

The harnesses bolt on to the seat. They don't bolt into the car at all. The sliders are universal.

anyone?? how do i go about taking out the front seat belts? and has anyone installed racing seats with universal brackets? how hard is it?
