I'm thinkin about getting stripes too for my black stang gt. Can't decide between white or silver.

What I do know you can find them for a lot less here and more variety.
Yes, they're 3M and an officially licensed product by Ford and Shelby.

I'll be getting the 20pc Lemans set with the gt300 side stripes.

Sorry, here's the link: http://www.graphic-express.com/ford_0dir__2005_mustang.htm

I've got a black black GT as well. I was thinking the silver would look better as it would be a bit more subtle. The white just looks too loud in my oppinion.

I purchased one of the first sets of 12" wide stripes from Bob White.

The 3M material and cut were great. Price... eh.

What I did not like was that the stripe kit did not go completley down the bumpers....
just the tops. (which I opted not to install)

I had a professional installation guy do all the work.
He took nearly 8 hours to get them on.
Most of that time was spent attempting to get extra material he had to lay down the bumper.
No luck!

I've seen kits 8" to 10" wide lay down bumper to bumper.
IMO bumper to bumper looks the best.

Next year I intend to have my stripes painted on.

Hope this helps.

BTW... REFLECTIVE stripes are really cool!!!!
But much more expensive and difficult to install.

Hey guys - this is great info, thanks!! My baby is on order and has a build week of 4/25. I am struggling with which color racing stripes to have installed. I would REALLY love to find a dark crimson red stripe to match her crimson interior, but may have to go with a black or other color. Thoughts/suggestions???

Black stripes are too common.

Go with red ones and make a statement.
Go with reflective red ones and really stand out!

Width is important too.... 10" or better. (no comments please)

The factory 8" option look too skinny IMO.

You can't be serious.... red stripes on a satin silver will look like one fast christmas ornament. And reflective red stripes? that's gonna be pretty

I think I am going to get the Dark Charcoal stripes from Graphic Express. Not crazy about the reflective ones, but that's just not my personal fave.

Any one put strips on a convertible? Specifically a black vert.

Here's a great company to get your stripes from:
http://www.autotrimdesign.net/items.jsp?category=25149

I worked closely with this company, to develope a kit I wanted. They made the Ford Mustang Two Color Rally Stripe Graphic Kit based on my dememtions & request. This kit is now available to others! You can choose any color combo you want! My kit is being shipped now. I will have it on, hopefully sometime next week.

Nice. For that price, I guess they better be painted. You're missing a registration sticker, btw.
