Rear Bumper Stripes Missing

Hi, I’m looking at an early production 2007 GT500 and it is missing the racing stripes on the rear bumper only. The owner says it came that way from the factory. Is that possible? Thanks!

Yes. In 2008, I nearly pulled the trigger on a GT500. I was ordering one in blue with [no stripes].
