no idea. i do all my work myself. once i get the cams/converter/gears though, im going to install the cams myself, then take it to get the converter and gears installed. I dont want to FUBAR the TC and gears (plus, i want to make sure the TC is installed right). then, off to the dyno to get a tune.
When you get that thing tuned, I think you better keep the line pressure up to that torque converter clutch. I'm beginning to think that is what's causing these torque converter plates to burn out, and not because they're made out of crappy material. It happens to many converters, and this might be the cause. Everyone is afraid of raising line pressure due to more fluid flow into the transmisison than into the pan. With a deeper sum pan, this helps to eliminate any potential problems with that, so look into getting a deeper transmission pan as well. I'm suppost to get my transmission flushed tomorrow and I'm going to put that B&M pan on then. I'll let you guys know how that goes.
That is so expensive, it's rediculous. I guess it depends on the economy where you live. Hell, the local dealership only charges $75/hr, and they're pricey.
