Hey, I have an 89 5.0, it leaked power steering fluid, and long story short, I removed the Rack and Pinion to replace the lines. I have everything connected back up now and when I run the car, the wheel pulls all the way one way on it's own, then all the way the other way...I have no idea why it does this and would appreciate any ideas...my brother said something about maybe needing to bleed it, but we don't know how...

You need to let the engine run while you turn the wheel from lock to lock a few times. Turn it off and check the fluid level, add some if needed. Then repeat until you don't have to add anymore PS fluid; you should be using Type F trans fluid in there BTW.

Why do you keep making multiple threads about this?

I dont know what the first part of the question means... but its going to be hard to turn because there's air in the system.

Was it doing that before you replaced the lines?

I think I get it now, is it because you dont have any weight on the front tires because its jacked up; so it makes the steering wheel fast and easy to spin.

Try putting the car on the ground, thats the way I did it.
