i need one and i'm on a budget. does anyone know where the best deal is? fordracing has a set for 120...that seemed a little high. so i went to summit and the same ones were 99...my buddy told me that was still high...does anyone know of a place to find them cheaper? thanks!

If you are on a budget most auto parts stores carry stock style rubber hoses, the pair (upper and lower) will be less then $20

If you're talking about the blue Ford hoses, they are expensive but mine have lasted 12+ years.

Yeah, don't waste your money on the silicon set from Ford Racing. I bought them before and one of the hoses had torn the instant I put it on. I think the black hoses from the parts store look better any way

I got my Ford Racing "Police" Cooling system hose kit from Summit for $99.

They were nice and easy to install, less flex than the cheap rubber ones.

But yes, on a budget you may wish to get rubber ones...just know you'll be buying new ones down the road.

I was at Ford and priced the factory black replacement hoses and they were less money than Autozone and Pepboys.

Thay also fit better.

BTW: I run the Blue Hoses because a friend gave them to me for free.

If not I would have gone with the black ones.
