Installing my new radiator and fan shroud that was missing when I bought the car and I can't find out how the overflow tank hooks up to the radiator. I know that a hose goes from the spout on the radiator to the tank, but there is a big upper spout and a small lower one on the tank. Also, what size of hose do I need to do this. Thank you much and if possible, pictures would be great!

The hose from the neck of the radiator just hooks to the small opening on the bottom of the overflow tank. The large opening on the top of the overflow tank is an overflow for the overflow tank.

The Shape is right on (as usual).
if you dont have the stock shroud (running elec fan or something), you can get a generic overflow from the parts store and stick it in next to the inside of the driver side fender (between battery and fender). fits and may be hard to fill, but is out of sight and the way. just a worst case idea. good luck.

Thanks, I get it now. Does anyone have any clue what the size of the hose is?

we have all been there.
i didnt want to sound condescending, but i dont think many actually know the right size for it. i take stuff in all the time. now i try to keep a few feet of every size of the various line on hand.
