Hello,

I have an '07 GT. After having my battery replaced both my backlight for my radio (shaker 500) and my Aux port have stopped working. Both worked just fine prior.

My radio works just fine except for the backlighting of the buttons when my headlights are on. The dimmer switch is not the issue as dash lights and such still dim and work.

Secondly, my AUX port is no longer working with my iphone. It worked fine before. When I had first purchased the car I bought a long with it Sirius radio for a year. That service has long since been stopped. However, when I connect my iphone and hit the AUX button, it begins to attempt to find a satellite to connect to. That is all it does and then asks for me to call Sirius after a few minutes.

I appreciate all your help in advance. Thank you.

Your ipod works on line in, to the best of my memory.
I have an 07 but put in a Kenwood indash unti with navigation, ipod controls, etc. months ago.

Yes it would be line-in. However my AUX will not switch to that for some reason.

Also something else I noticed was that my option for speed volumes is no longer available under my menu on the radio.

This is strange...

I just tested my ciggarette lighter port in the console as well. It isn't working either.

Must be a fuse....tho looking at the manual I am not sure which one.

Any ideas?

I think there are two for the radio. One is in the driver's side kick panel. The other is under the hood on the passenger side. Your owner's manual should tell you.

All fuses are now good. I replaced one in the engine that fixed my power jack in the console.

However, my radio still will not switch to line-in. Only switches to SAT, which I discontinued over a year ago.

Unless it is one of the mini relays I am at a loss. I have no idea how to check those either.

Dumb question. Is the car still under warranty? If it is, I'd take it to Ford to sort out.
