I just picked up a 97 and the radio turns on and plays but there is no sound coming out of the speakers. is there a fuse anywhere for it? I don't have a diagram for the fuse blocks.

Do you have the factory head unit? If you do you will need the special keys to pull out the stereo with. Anyways i would pull out the headunit and check to make sure e very thing is correctly wired together. I dont think there is just one fuse dedicated to the speakers, so if you got power to the unit, and everything is correctly put togather, im afraid you got a toasted stereo.

Mach 460? Check both the underhood and cabin fuse boxes. Not sure off hand if there's fuses under the hood for the Mach system, but in my 95, I'm pretty sure they were inside the car.

pull the deck make sure the speakers are wired in there, then if they are good to go, then check to make sure the speaker them selves are wired to the deck. It might be worth it to run new speaker wire then try to figure out what goes where. Its pretty easy to run wire in these cars, hard part is going though the door wiring boot thing. use a hanger or something for that.
