Greetings,
I own a '00 GT 'Vert.
I have added no mods to it, so it is completly stock.

I think that the railings for my 'Vert need to be tightened.
The reason is, is because if I am on the highway, with the top up, and all the windows rolled up, the back end of the top shakes like it's comming apart.
But I see no other damage to the top, and it lowers and raises normally, and secures evenly.

Can I tighten up the railings myself? Have any of you done this before? Or do you recommend taking it to a shop to get it done?

Thanks in adavance for any advice.

Take it to a good trim shop. If you are not sure where to take it call your Ford Dealer and ask them who they use for convertible top work.
