My carpet in my hatch is all soaken wet which really sucks. When i open the hatch water comes out pretty fast down the defroster wire on the bottom right. I hope you guys understand where im talking about. I don't knwo where it is leaking from but i'm getting really pissed off.

what part of the hatch carpet is wet?

If it's near the rear seats, you might have a weather strip problem. If it's near the tail lights, water might be getting in where the glass meets the metal on the hatch.

Thanks for replying bro. Well anyways its near the taillights. what do you mean by the glass meets the metal? when the hatch is closed or open?

The actual hatch part. The glass is held in place with a silicone glue but over time the silcone can deteriorate. So if it rains the water can get inside the car at the bottom of the glass.

It's been a while since I owned a hatch, but I think there is a plastic trim panel that you can remove from inside to see where the metal and glass meet. That is where I would try and put the silicone.

on the interior side of the hatch, directly under the spoiler there should be a long piece of plastic held on by like 4 screws and 4 of those plastic push tab thingys (cant see the push tab thingys till u take the screws out and pull at it).

anyways, im not sure if this is the piece you are talking about but when had a saleen spoiler water somehow made its way under the spoiler and would collect on the plastic trim piece. When i opened the hatch it would all rush out that defroster hole (the trim piece partly covers the defroster wire if i recall correctly).

I dont think the plastic trim piece covers any part of the glass though...but i dont have it on (it rattles-im missing screws so i took it off).
