Ram Air Hood or Cold Air

So are the CDC SHAKER ram air kits good for any horsepower? Are the cold air kits better or are they both worthless? Do you need a reprogram with a SHAKER?

the CAI's do require a retune for most and my ram air hood didn't line up with my CAI so it had to be "adjusted"
I really don't know how much the ram air is worth but once i got the CAI sealed up to the outlet on the hood i did pickup about 3 mph in the 1/4mile. I've data logged IAT's and you can see when the ram air becomes effective. the temps drop about 20-30 degrees by the time you reach 40mph.
the one thing about the ram air hoods or at least mine was it put a lot of pressure under the hood making it shake and dance from around from 70mph -up. it was downright scary at 100mph so i put some hood pins in for peace of mind.

What hood and CAI do you have? I have the C&L Racer and am looking at the Cervini's '67. What type of modifications did you make to make it line up?

Only thing worth it is it will gain you some power while retaining your warranty, but won't give you much adjustability if it all for future mods.
