I wouldn't say "Knocked out cold", but a TKO none the less. I figured as much. Nobody I've rooted for in the last 5-or-so UFC's has won, so why should this one be any different.

Dont feel bad though because you did make a smart choice, I was one of the few that picked Rampage and got lucky but I just knew his style, tactics and being so strong was going to give chuck trouble and I did a lot of wishing
And it was no fluke either its very unlikely he will ever beat rampage except for the punchers chance that all fighters have. Your wright it was a awsome card tonight

True he wasnt knocked out cold but he was asking what happen he got hit so hard, he got reallly lucky they stopped it when they did because he was litterly one punch away from going into a deep sleep. Theres so many good competive fighters out there its tuff to pickem but thats what makes them so entertaining .

Rampage just had a lucky punch. **** he had to throw something, he kept telling liddell to throw some punches but he wouldn't throw any himself. Rampage is just a punk like ortiez, so I hope they have a rematch and liddell kickes the crap out of him, with a good fight.

Well said And they will fight again im sure with the same results but hopefully next fight Chuck will get some more butt kicking but stretched out over a few more rounds and then go to sleep
Wow....a lot of hatred for Lidel in this thread? Don't see why...it's not like he's an ***hole or anything. He's been a great champion and representative of the sport and amongst the sea of trash talking opponents, I would consider him more on the civil side of the bunch? IMO, Lidel has always shown himself to be more business, less flack every time I’ve seen him fight. I mean….Jackson’s done more trash talking in the short time he’s been with UFC that I’ve seen Lidel do in his entire career?

No, I really like liddell because like I said he is more laid back, and doesn't go around claiming to be the best fighter. That would expleain all the booing in the crowd when Anderson won, and the poll they had befor the fight 62% thought chuck would win. Not many people like Anderson. I do admit he is a big dude though.
Chuck getting "lucky" with all his knock-out punches in pretty much every other fight, must be some good ass luck then.

but I also like jackson and I've seen him fight and alot of behind the scenes stuff on him, most of his trash talk is just harmless jokes he cracks, the guy is funny as hell.

Well I cant speak for anyone else but im a pretty faithfull UFC fan since the begining before it was banned on tv "cage fighting"and i've seen chuck talk a lot of trash about Randy Couture And other fighters but thats just part of the game its called marketing and Rampage is basicaly personality wise the Mohamid ali of the ufc.I personaly dislike Chuck because i've seen him whitch im sure was in the heat of the moment but hit fighters after they were already knocked out and to be pulled off and I dont really hate the guy but im very happy he lost
and if you noticed when Rampage realized Chuck was going out he was already starting to back off before the reff even started pulling him off. Not Chuck he just keeps beating the guy and the reff has to litterly rip him off his opponets anyway under all the hype I think Rampage is going to be a good champion and hold the title for a long time if he maintains his training.
