If you're not willing to swap valve covers, you're going to need to make yourself some sort of elbow coming out of the cover relocating it slightly. If it were me, I'd just pick up a set of MN12 (Thunderbird/Cougar) valve covers.

It's best just get new valve covers. I don't think you could cut a hole in the left side. Maybe you could take of the tube. Figure out a way to make the oil cap sit on top of the filler boss. I don't know.

Or you can just do what most shops do and get yourself a set of 4.6 Mustang valvecovers that have the oil fill on the driver's side like on the 2002+ and some 96-98's.

^ Mine is on the pass side . (04GT) Typo?

And it got in the way with the JLT intake....however now that the turbos are in im very fortunate that mine came with it on the pass side, otherwise I would have ran into some issues haha.

Yep, supposed to not be a "+" sign. I types as gooder than a shortbus window licker.

Most 2002's had the oil fill on the driver's side. Some of the 96-98's did as well.

Yeah, that's where I was going with the MN12 valve covers. Some year Stangs had them on the drivers side, others on the pass side and if you didn't know which year to get, you might end up with the wrong ones. But all MN12 oil fill covers were located on the drivers side.

This could explain why a guy on here a while ago had both valve covers with the filler neck. I wonder if the Bullitt has it's own valve covers. I agree with Gearbanger on the MN12 valve covers. I have some I'd let go for cheap, if you want them. Romeo's.

Bullitts do use different cam covers, now 1 thing you can do is remove the right cam cover and cut that plastic filler neck in 1/2.
then go-to a parts store and buy 2 hose clamps and a piece of hose that will slip over the ends you just cut and raise the filler up above the air inlet tube.

Yes, I am pretty sure the MN12's would work as well.
