I just picked up (another) '93 LX. I put about 1200 miles on it and had an issue twice. Out of nowhere, the car feels like it's running on 2 cyls. and the check engine light comes on. Also, the tach dropped about 1000 rpms while it was running like crap. It cleared itself up both times after a few minutes, the check engine light went out, and there are no codes stored. I'm assuming something ignition as the tach drops. I'm driving around all week with the scanner under the seat waiting for it to do it again, but of course now that I'm ready for it, it doesn't act up. I'm giving this car to my daughter and don't want her getting stuck with it. Any ideas? Thanks...
