I'm switching to a volvo intercooler for my 2.3 turbo, and was wondering (assuming what i've heard) that I need to use a Ranger Radiator, is that a 2 or 3 row, Also is it worth pulling a ranger roller cam, I don't know what the diffrence is between the roller/solid cam....

I'm sure there are people who may not think its worth it but I do. A roller valve train cuts down on friction which should free up some sort of power. On a 2.3T it maybe as little as 5-10hp gain in swaping cams but its still worth it to me. Also I heard that it makes daily driving nicer as well. Click on my site I got pics of both solid followers and the rollers. There is also a cam from Ford I think that may work better than a ranger its a A137 cam.

As for the radiator I would guess a 3 core on the ranger but thats a guess. The ranger's is not as wide so it allows for the plumbing of the volvo FMIC.

it's actually a237 and it's not exactly "ideal" for a turbo car though it does make more power than a RR or stocker.

Ranger radiator comes in 5/8, 1, 1 1/8" core and the explorer has a 1 and 2" core.

I use the 1" core in both my 91 and SVO...cools fine. I'd use the thick exploder one if I could ever find one cheap enough.
