I just picked up a stock red 1993 5.0 LX hatch with full black interior, sun roof, air, cruise, p/w and p/l. I was told this was rare for a stang to come w/ full black intorior/dash counsole. Is this true or am I just getting a head full?

Sorry not really..rare is an 88LX notch with Ttops..still be proud..your a stang owner now.

they only made about 62,077 5.0's in'93 w/ black interior.

sorry....no gem, but you gotta love it for what it is.

al stangs had partial black, if it was called grey, it was grey and black.

black is the best though...by far it is the best.

except for red on a '87...now that $hiz is pimp

Black is by far the best interior color (in my opinion). Be glad you have it. If you got ripped, (in your opinion) on the price, don't sweat it. You'll be happy in the long run with the car. BTW, what exterior color red is it? There were 2 diff. colors in '93.

Not rare at all, just in demand. Get yourself a mint condition tan interior, then you'll have something rare.

mine worked!!! till i was doing my mass air conversion and leaned on it and heard a snap it still stays closed but when you open it you kinda gotta wiggle it

I have '87 LX Hatch w/ sunroof, sand beige (tan) interior (I would say mint condition, except headliner is falling) w/ cloth seats, Medium Yellow exterior, no power options (except power side mirrors, go figure!) Original ashtray door works just fine, too, but needs a little paint (guess that's not mint either)

Bought the car new in March '87.

BTW, anybody know where I can get original tan vinyl headliner for this car?

My friend has an 88 the same way. Less the metric speedo.

Did yours have factory 3.08 gears? (I think that is what we found when we did his 3.55 gear swap?)

Rare, no, but highly desireable.

It's a hell of a lot easier to find a Mustang with a Black Interior than one with tan or one of the All-blue or all-red or even white interiors.

I got a 92 drop.....black on black int. Everything works. I think its rare that everything works...lol. Every stang I see either lights on the rear view or ash tray door doesnt work..lol
