Yeah... who paid for the whole day, and can people jump in/share the cost? If so, how many people are committed, and how much will it cost? Thanks,

Logan

Its $125 per car that races. As far as we can tell, multiple drivers are OK.

Is the price going to drop if more people show up?

If enough showed up it could, but I will say from past experience there wont be enough cars. We have not advertised nearly as much for this one either. For that amount however, you will get plenty of passes!

This is the 4th time we have done this, and I think a total of about 6 people have ever comitted to showing up, yet we have been averaging around 25 cars.
We do this event for those that want to test and tune or just practice without doing so in front of a bunch of people at an actual race.
If we started charging for spectators we could drop the per car price down, but how do you guess how many of them there will be in order to set a actual price.
The break even point is 20 cars, If we ever have any money left over we have had a bracket race or a best reaction time round and given it to the winner.

Thanks...ray

it was great!!, i had to leave at 12.30 but had a blast until then, we had every thing from a full race semi, to bikes. leo ran his first 10 second pass with his pro charged gt, bene's old 347 car was running 10.7 all motor.
a realy cool tubbed out gto showwed and was making test hits brand new car ,guy had never driven a fast car before. we had a couple supras testing.
ray had a fairly good day, first hit with similar tune to last friday was a 8.66/
then we took out all the delay and moved up wheelie bars and let him 'fly' sweet wheelie and went 8.63. was hoping for a 8.5 on the same small fogger tune but didn't happen. hope the get big hit and second staging up and running soon.
i would suggest if he did it a again next year to join was a very good time.

yea, I would have been there honestly but I had already promised Katie that I'd go to her game and it didn't even get over until after 1:00.

Glad it went well, I'm still thinking that this may be the way to go for Headsup NW, two or 3 all day events a year with a larger buy-in and (hopefully) bigger payouts. How many cars total did there end up being?

You guy's make it all worth the effort
I believe there were 19 cars this time...not as many as some of the other times, but not bad at all for very little advertisement.
Now I would like to thank you all by name, so "thanks by name"
