I have 2 clocksprings from old cars...just in case. Im only 1/2 sure one is good but fairly confident the other is ok.

What is the best way to install this withoug messing it up...alignment positioning, etc.?

Thanks
RC

RC,
I have no idea and cannot help, but after reading you mention this in a few threads, I have to ask....what the F is a clock spring, because you are talking about the steering wheel!
Thanks,
Stan

It's wound wires that that rotate with the wheel and allows the connections of the airbag and horn. Since the wheel turns the wires need to turn with it. It can wind a total of about 5 turns from one end to the next. Postioning on the reinstall is critical...the wheel has to be centered and the clockspring also so it can rotate in both directions without running out of wre. They are NO longer made for the 1994's. The 95-98 ones are the same...go figure.

Since Im down to 2 from a junkyard, I have to make sure if one is good I dont screw it up, so Im trying to get as much info as possible.

Thanks
RC
