this is like the 3rd time i tryed posting this, maybe i should take the hint but...sometimes during idle at a light my rpms will drop down to around 4 or 500, sit there a bit and then bounce back up to around 1000, usually i give it gas before it shoots back up just because i dont like my car feeling like its chocking to death...whats causing this? also i notice if im idle and i turn the wheel to either side i notice the rpms drop, not normal droppage, like 400 drop, whats the deal? thanx

Usually when I have the A/C on or the defrost on, my car will idle at 500 rpm's or so, but without either of those things on it idles at 1000 like usual.

It is reading teh Air Temp and compensating for that. It is normal for that to happen. Nothing really to worry about.

If it does it when youre turning you may want to check the power steering fluid. It may be one of those "stupid" problems.

well see, it just started happening, i'v had the car about a year now, and its only been dropping like that for about 2 months...it doesnt happen when i turn, just when i turn the wheel when im at a stop..i will check the power steering, i mean if it drops when i turn the wheel thats steering related..but when im just at a stand still and the rpms just drop whats that? i read up on it and people did say the iac, ill have to check that out as well, but it drops REALLY bad, i doubt my car being one step away from dying on itself is normal, but ill check those things out, any more insight will be appreciated, thanx guys
