Simple question. Do you think the red 10th anniversary cobra brake's look lame against zinc yellow? I like the red off the car, but maybe I should go with the normal black ones.

I think the Cobra brakes will look lame on a GT. Go for the Bullitt kit with running pony's. Same thing, but you wont get flamed for having "COBRA" on your GT.

Yellow & Red?.......When it comes crashing down and it hurts inside.....

I think it will look good......brother.

I think it's ok on this because I don't have(or never would) have cobra badges/stickers/etc. But they ARE technically cobra brakes, so it's not false advertising

The red will look better, black has no contrast and just looks like dirty
stock brakes. And as far as being cobra brakes, who cares they are cobra brakes, thats not false advertising.

the only stupid question is the one you dont ask. thats my philosophy.

and i dint think it matters if you drive a GT and have cobra brakes. hell, i have the word cobra on my brakes and i have cobra centercaps that came with my cobra r wheels. but i dont front. i still rep. GT on my car. and when someone asks, i just say "its a GT, but has better brakes and better wheels"

Wheels and brakes are 1 thing, bumpers and badges are another.
With cobra badges and bumpers on a GT, it better run better than 12 seconds
in the quarter mile or you will get a lot of.......

all I was getting at, is that there is an identical alternative that has a running pony instead of the cobra letters. why not go that route?

either way, get the red ones. the hulkster says so.

I saw a V6 with duals and a GT emblem on the trunk....I laughed when I couldn't hear it take off.

i saw a V6 that looked identical to a cobra at a carshow once. only thing fishy was it was quiet when he pulled it in. i asked him many times to see under the hood until finally after ~30 min of pestering him, he popped the hood. when i saw the V6 sitting there, i just started laughing in his face. then i got scared b/c i thought him and his homies were gonna shank me.

As for red calipers, I don't think it will look bad.

I have blue calipers with the running pony on my red car. It grabs attention rather than fading in
