Is there a difference between the GT and Mach 1 ABS sensors on the rear of the maustang. The traction control computer in between the radiator and the engine says it is a cobra but the sensors ( I broke them trying to get them out, but they are out) are about $60 for a GT and over $100 for the cobra. Why are they so different in price?

Because stealerships charge more for anything "cobra"?

Seriously though it is probably due to the IRS.

Cobra sensors are specific for the IRS. Will not work on the GT or Mach 1. I have a pair of abs sensors foor 99-04 GT, MACH. Pm me an offer if you want them.

My traction control box out of the wrecked Mach 1 says Cobra on it, while the one out of my GT says it is for a GT. This is factory stickers on the boxes. Are you sure regular GT sensors will work being that the traction box in between the radiator/engine says cobra?

Mach 1's have the same solid rear as a 99-04 GT 8.8. the only difference is the mach has 3.55's. Same rear ABS Sensors as the GT. the only sensors that will work in your car are the GT Mach 1 sensors as the cobra ones are totally different. I will try and find pictures for you so u can see the difference.

Mustang 99-04 Rear Abs Sensor, Rh, All Except Cobra With Irs by Ford at LRS - Same Day Shipping!

The cobra sensors where the read is a square plastic fiting and ist all different.

Im running Cobra IRS sensors on my GT ABS module/traction control box. Im pretty sure they are all interchangable anyways. But like i said in my first post. I got sensors if you need them
