Rear axle brake line replacement

Hello folks, I'm wanting to replace my rear metal brake lines on my '68 while I've still got it up on jackstands.

I've already replaced the metal line going from front to rear and the rubber hose that connects that line with the rear axle. My question is how hard is it to replace the remaining two brake lines that are on the stock 8" rear axle?

I've noticed a couple of clips that look like the bottoms of them are welded or brazed to the axle. Would it be possible to pry open those clips to remove the old brake lines and then install some new brake lines?

I'm wanting to bend my own brake lines for this as well. The front to rear brake line was around 10 feet long(I used two 5 feet 1/4" lines). I think I did an ok job bending those lines so I'll probably try bending new ones for the axle if possible.

Anyone know if these clips on the rear axle can be reused and how they are attached, and if not then how do you go about replacing the brake lines on the rear axle?

I really hadn't visited the forum that much in the past, so I just thought of a username that no one else had. All the good ones were already taken. If I could've had 68Stang or Mustang68, I would have taken it! I had no idea you had 6stang7 as a username as I haven't really visited the forum much before I registered.

As you can see I haven't really posted much since I even registered a username. Sorry, but I really couldn't think of anything else. I could've used LT4fun which is my Corvetteforum name, but I don't think that would've gone over well on a Mustang forum!<G>

Maybe I should change my username to LT4fun. The helpful replies would probably diminish tremendously though!
