Does anyone have any experience with the battery relocation? Does it make a noticeable difference in handling?

yes it does make a difference. you are taking 28lbs of weight from the right front of the car and moving to either over the rear axle or behind it. with the mustang, front to rear weight distribution goes from 57/43 to 56/44 just by moving the battery to the rear.
