i already have the front kit from a 2004 cobra and i have a set of rear brakes from a 2001 cobra in the garage, i was wondering if i was going to run into any problems or is there anything i need to know before the install? i have the calipers, rotors, brackets, lines, and banjo bolts, will the parking brake work?

yes the rear parking brake should work. there was an article that I read that said it did I dont remember who wrote it though. I believe the only difference between the gt and cobra is the cobra is a little wider

i was looking at a picture of what blue oval industries sends with the cobra/bullit rear brake kit and there seems to be a bracket that bolts to the axle tube, are those brackets the same on our cars? or do i need it? i only have the bracket that the caliper mounts too, and what is and anti-groan thing?

Just for the record 94-98 Cobra rear calipers are the same like 94-04 GT/V6 except Cobra uses bigger mounting bracket on axles and bigger rotors and thiner pads

does anyone have anything further on pulling the axles? I'm caught between the Cobra rears or the Baer 13" rears with stock calipers

You need the Rear Brake Kit M-2300-M. The best price is $154 at http://www.johnbleakleyford.com/partssearch.asp?search=BRAKE It has all the brackets and rotors too.

94-98 Cobra have same rear calipers like 94-98 GT / V6 except they use different caliper brackets and bigget discs
You will have to take axles out to take old caliper brackets off
