I was under the car looking for a rear diff drain plug. Is there one? Also, how many quts does the tranny hold? I have a manual trans.
no wonder I couldn't find it. I thought it was just me...I looked for prob. 10 minutesponycar17 said:There isn't one... You must remove the cover, and let the oil drain. For what it's worth, don't replace the gasket around the rear diff. cover; use blue RTV to make your own gasket (unless you can get Ford's gray gasket maker; that stuff's awesome). Blue RTV makes a much better gasket that's bump resistant...
