Hey, im new to this fourm. I know my fox mustangs pretty well, but i was wanting to know if it would be possible to take a 94- up rear end and braking system and put it onto my 92, the reason... five lug and disc brakes, lol

It will be harder with the 96-04 setup, and it won't stop you any better than the 2300 kit from Ford. It's expensive, I paid almost $2400 from Steeda and it uses the 93 Cobra R/94-95 Cobra brake setup.
It comes with everything you need. But good luck finding it, because it's on a nationwide backorder from Ford. I got the last one Steeda had.

My car stops awesome now btw.

Been done hundreds, if not thousands of times. Read http://svo73mm.cjb.net for all the info on 5 lug all disc upgrades.

FWIW, the Cobra kit is great. But, if you have the time to look around and don't mind some used parts, you can do the same basic kit for more like $1000 or so. I have about $1200 in mine, including the wheels and tires. But of course you can do the basic V6 or GT brakes for less.

Good luck!

87-88 Turbocoupes came with rear discs, but not five lug. If the five lug is not that important to you, the t-coupe rear ends can be had pretty cheap.

Yes, it's a direct bolt on. All you need are the braking hardware from the axles and 94-98 axle shafts and it's a straight forward swap.

You can't use 99-04 Axles because they are longer, so make sure you get 94-98 axles.

You can use the brake hardware from any 94-04 GT or V6 or 94-98 Cobra.
