i have aquired a used 31 spline carrier with trac loc, and some used 3:73 gears from a friend and i plan to rebuild the entire rearend and install all this along with some 31 spline frpp axles. i have never done this before and im wondering what all parts do i need to buy in order to rebuild everything. im guessing i will need new axle bearings, new carrier bearings, pinion bearing, new clutches/shims for the trac loc? what else am i going to need. i want to go ahead and order everything im going to need so that i know i have it all ready to go once i tear this thing apart. i have a friend helping me do it that knows how to do most of it so i shouldnt have any trouble with that part. i just want to make sure i replace everything in the rearend that might be worn out after 120k miles, which im sure is pretty much everything. anyone care to make a list for me?

well you have the parts.. you will need to have everything re calculated gear wise.. i recomend taking it to a shop.. but if you use all of those parts and buy new bearings and seals it should be a pretty sweet setup.. find some carbon fiber clutches for the rear end..

your setup is just like mine but i have 410's... i had all used parts too.... its worth it to have someone do it VS trying to do it yourself..
