I had a new rear end put in my car all the upgraded stuff in it. I also put a grantelli rear end girdle cover i got from jegs. My car is lowered and if i haul 2 other people around in my car than myself it is hitting a metal peice it looks like it is around the gas tank. If you guys can give me ideas of what to do like put new stiffer springs on it? raise it back up? or put my stock rear end cover on or get a new not so big of one? if you guys can help me out i would really appreciate it. Also the rear end does do some damage it will take a beatin to. have not took it to track yet but plan on doing so very soon. so again if you have any ideas i would really appreciate it.

When you put too much weight in the rear your car will bottom out. It's not hitting the girdle, it's hitting the Bumpstop, a bushing thats on the floorboard that get's hit by the axle when it's too low.

what i have learned from lowering my car and have heard from others who have lowered theirs is your backseat is no longer for passengers. If i put someone in my backseat it will bottom out on everything. Time for a rear seat delete kit....you now have a 2 seater.
