rtv is by far the best sealer. it never leaks if its put on properly. the same cannot be said for gaskets. i've built many chrysler fwd trannies, anytime i used gaskets, they leaked eventually. rtv came on them from the factory and it never leaked, so that's what i use....and it doesn't leak.

Ford doesn't even use a gasket on the 8.8s anymore just black RTV. That is what I have used on my 93, 88 and 03 Mach 1
