rtv is by far the best sealer. it never leaks if its put on properly. the same cannot be said for gaskets. i've built many chrysler fwd trannies, anytime i used gaskets, they leaked eventually. rtv came on them from the factory and it never leaked, so that's what i use....and it doesn't leak.
