i was actually trying to find out if the newer sn-95 or other mustang rears would work as most all of them had limited slips and rear disc.they would be easier to locate in my area.

Yeah, the 8.8's will work up til 99 and they went with a wider rear then. It may work too though.. not sure on that. Are you gonna change it over to 5 lug?

anybody know how much wider they are than stock?no i'm not going to five lug,my cobra r's are 4 -lug and don't really want to get another set as i traded my old draglites for these.i would just have the rear axles and rotors redrilled to 4-lug.i am also wondering about e-brake hookup.

The 87-88 Tbird TC and the 94-98 Mustangs will both work and are the same size, the axles are .75" longer on each side than the Fox, which is fine with 8" wide wheels, a bit tight with 9" wheels. The 99+ housings are longer than the earlier ones and will not work. You can also use the Mark VII housing since it is the same 8.8 housing as the 86-98 Mustangs, but it does not have provisions for the quad shocks and very few have traction loc. The axles are longer with the stock disc brakes (1.25") but you can either use the Fox drums and 4 lug axles or flip and modify the disc brackets to use the Fox axles with redrilled rotors for 4 lug disc brakes.
