:nice: Hello guys! I'm worried and really need your help. :( Everytime I drive my car and start braking to stop completely, the rear end makes a clunk you can barely hear and it feels as it moves back and fort. It moves only once back and fort, just before you stop. What could be causing this problem?

:nice:

back and forth? Have to ask what direction, side-to-side or front to back?
Either way, check your control arm bushings for the movement.
As for the clunk sound, can you go forward and do the same thing and hear the noise again after trying it going backwards? If you keep going in that direction and try to stop again, does it make the noise again or does it go away?

control arm or housing bushings.. my car was wrecked and knocked the crap out the housing bushing.. causing the rear end to shift side to side.. simply repalced it

Jack it up and check the control arm bolts, all 8 of them.

If they are loose, even one, it will do this.

Tighten them and drive it. If it still moves, it may be the bushings.

Loose or worn U joints in the drive shaft will also cause clunking on stop and start.
