I have a friend who damaged the rear end on him Mustang. It's a 2000 GT w/ a stock 8.8 setup. Does anyone know where to find say the axles, bushings, & bearings for that rearend & also where to just find the whole rear or a 9 inch rear end?
if you want stock parts just go to the dealer for the axles and bearings, or a place like autozone, kragen, napa for the bearings. there are places like Moser Engineering, and Strange Engineering that make sweet 8.8 setups that can take a ton of power. the 9 incher is a solid rear end, however the power level you are gonna be at that would result in broken built 8.8 parts and a 9inch is necessary is beyond what the mere mortal would acheive.
