Sometimes when I shift It kinda makes a clunking noise in the rear end. When it's cold and warmed up it does it. Any idea?

I have the t45 ( i believe )

not the 3650.

2000 gt. Stock.

is there any slipping or vibrations? if its slipping, its most likely the clutch packs going bad.

Everyonce ina while it slips. I just figured it was the clutch wearing out 104k miles on a car that's been driven hard.

How much money/trouble is it to replace the clutch packs.

Rear end was rebuilt about 30k miles ago.

sounds to me like its probably clutch chatter, cuz thats what i had and it turned out to be the clutch going bad and slipping. Time to upgrade to either a SpecII or a King Cobra clutch. I got quoted about 200 for install, so it shouldnt be too bad.

Ok that's not bad at all, time for perfomance parts. But the clutch sliping would make the rear end sound like that right?
