Hi everyone
Looking to change rear gears but unsure of which ratio to use. 3.55 or 3.73? . I have a 95 convertible GT bone stock. Plans to have top end work and possibly a supercharger down the road. What would be a good combo for a stock application.

Well, if it were me and I planned on a supercharger in the near future I would go with a 3.27 gear. Now for a mild build I would do the 3.55 for a stick and a 3.73 for the auto.

I was leaning on 3.73 and now that you recommend it for auto I think I will install that gear ratio
Thanks

Those are just my opinions, and not based on any actual mechanical experience
I have an 89 gt with a fresh engine, stock internals with long tube headers, gt40 tubular intake, 70 mm tb, c&l pipe and mass air meter, t5, pro50 shifter, cobra clutch and 3.55 gears. Will be swapping on a set of gt40ps and 1.7 roller rockers soon. It is already a fun ride, I can pitch it sideways in first and second. I have had it many years and can make a new v6 mustang look silly from a stop light, only because I know how my car will react.
I just wanna have fun.
Plan your gear to the engine power band and the type of driving you plan on doing.

3.73's or 4.10's.
