Ok, after an inspection at a local tranny shop, I find out that I have one big mess. I was basically quoted 2500 bucks for this job. I know it will be a costly job, but this just seems high to me. The shop guy said it would be best to just start all over with a new transmission, but I'm not entirely sure. What is everyones opinion on the cost of this job (parts, labor) and should I consider rebuilding my tranny or starting over with a new one. It's on a 94 GT with an AODE.
