there is a ebay auction for some slotted rear rotors.

This auction is for Brand New set of HAWKS RACING 'Pro Stop' Slotted Rotors for a Ford Mustang. These items are new and are in PERFECT OPERATING CONDITION !!!! This set (2) of rear rotors fits all 1994 current Ford V6, 5.0 and 4.6 Mustangs. Will also fit 79-93 Ford Mustangs with SN-95 spindles and brakes!

# Slotted, not drilled for long life with no cracking between holes!!
# Direct replacement for factory rotors
# Greatly improved braking while retaining all other OEM Parts
# Great for street or track... Brakes run up to 200° Cooler...Look Awesome!!
# Superior wet weather performance!!
# CNC Machined and Profiled to exceed OEM standards
# Double Disc grinding ensures parallelism and eliminates runout and taper
# Mill balanced to OEM specs to prevent vibration
# QS-9000 Manufacturer
# Direct Replacement for Stock Rotors!! Use new stock pad, high performance or race pads... Your choice!!

they look real nice right? but they are only $49.99 buy it now.

i really need some rear rotors and am just wondering if this is a good deal or not. the seller has over 7000+ feedback with a rating of 99.3% positive

Rotors are not something that I would buy off of Ebay. Mine, my family, and my friends lives depend on them too much to go cheap on no matter how much feedback someone has. Get them from a reputable dealer so you know that you are getting the real deal and not some scratch and dent(or dropped) special.

Just my .02

You would only pay a little bit more for actual Ford Racing drilled and slotted rear rotors.

Here is the FRPP rear, stock size, rotor for the GT:

The MSRP is $145 each so I guess they are a bit more expensive than I thought... You should be able to find a better price than $145 each though.

Also it would look really gay with slotted rotors out back with normal ones out front, the otehr way round is ok... but the rear is not meant to be more aggressive than the front.

get the fronts first then get the rears or get them together.

and btw i have NEVER heard of hawks racing, hawk performace yes, but they only make pads, so i am at a loss. i think they are some crappy brakes. you get what you pay for and thsoe aren't brand name reduced to clear rotors either, get some brembos or some good stuff from tirerack or a reputable seller and you will be much happier
